East of Scotland Fraud Forum (ESFF).

The objective of the East of Scotland Fraud Forum is to promote change and create an open, anti-fraud culture in the East of Scotland.

This will be achieved by:

*Removing the stigma of talking about fraud
*Sharing information and promoting partnership working
*Promoting discussion, obtaining practical outcomes and taking forward a common vision
*Obtaining new ideas from public and private sector organisations
*Organising conferences and seminars on subjects relating to our objectives

The East of Scotland Fraud Forum is modelled on the successful template devised by the North East Fraud Forum (NEFF).  The NEFF describe the aim of their project in the following terms, which hold true for the ESFF.

"The culture of British business has a tendency to inhibit proper fraud prevention. The aim of the NEFF will be to promote fraud awareness and successful fraud prevention strategies across both public and private sector regions, by creating a culture of transparency with better flows of information and open discussion aimed at promoting more widespread understanding and better sharing of ideas."
