Regional Fraud Forums

The North East Fraud Forum (NEFF) was launched at St. James Park, Newcastle upon Tyne; in March 2003.  The North East Fraud Forum organising committee includes Northumbria, Durham, Cleveland Police, University of Teesside, Northumbria University and representatives from the private and public sectors who assist with the dissemination of Fraud Advice and the organising of conferences, specialist forums and training.
Since 2004 several Regional Fraud Forums have been launched across the country.  The culture of British business has a tendency to inhibit proper fraud prevention.  The aim of the NEFF and the Regional fraud forums is to promote fraud awareness and successful fraud prevention strategies across both public and private sector regions, by creating a culture of transparency with better flows of information and open discussion aimed at promoting more widespread understanding and better sharing of ideas.

Please see the drop down list for the Fraud Forum in your region.

National Federation of Fraud Forums

In 2007 the Regional Fraud Forums will come under the umbrella of the National Federation of Fraud Forums.  Please watch this space for further details.
