Yorkshire and Humber Fraud Forum (YHFF).

The Forum was successfully launched at a conference held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Leeds on Thursday 9 November 2006.

The keynote speech for the conference was given by Meredydd Hughes QPM, Chief Constable of South Yorkshire. Mr. Hughes stressed the importance to the public and private sector of partnerships in the fight against fraud and business crime.  He pointed out that our region, with an economy of £75.2 billion pounds, a population of 5 million and 270,000 businesses was equivalent to several countries including Ireland, Greece, Norway and Singapore.
